In 2016 he launched SSLPing.com, a free tool that many security engineers relied on for years to check their certificates’ health as HTTPS was becoming more mainstream.

With SSLBoard, Chris set out to solve a bigger problem: bringing visibility, trust, and control to SSL/TLS certificates at scale. The rollout of Certificate Transparency was the trigger and the starting point for SSLBoard.
